Hoe do I treat seed?
Put the seeds in a cup clean water on a dark spot at room temperature. Refresh the water daily. After several days the seeds are germinating. Plant it +/- 2 cm deep in fertiliser poor soil like cutting soil. Keep the soil moist and place it in a warm light spot.
Transfer the plant to a pot with fertilised soil after 1.5 week. The plant should be around 5 cm high
Place the plant in a warm light spot, but not in full sun. After several weeks de plant is ready to be transferred to a bigger pot or in full soil outside.
Put it on the sunniest and light place possible. Keep 1 m² space for each plant if you put it outside in full ground.
At the beginning of the flowering period small green bulbs starts to grow in male plants. Also the male plant is frequently longer and thinner than the female plants. Female plants will have white-pink hairs which will be the future bud.
Take away the males before the bulbs starts to open in order to prevent seed production! An example of a male and female plant is shown in the picture below.
The average flowering period is 7 till 9 weeks. With exception of Haze which needs 12 weeks.
Give your plants always enough water and nutrition. Also in outside soil.
